Privacy note for the Caravan waitlist

Caravan is an early-stage project. This page covers only the waitlist form on this website. There is no account, no payment and no real dealer involved here.

What we collect

• Your email address (required).
• Whether you're a buyer or a dealer (required).
• Your city and a car make you're interested in, only if you type them in.
• The date and time you joined.

That's all the form stores. This site uses no analytics, no trackers, no advertising scripts and no cookies. Fonts are served from this site, not from a third party.

Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep basic technical logs (such as IP addresses) to run and protect the service. TODO: name the host and link its privacy policy.

Why we collect it

• To email you updates about Caravan, such as when there's a demo worth trying.
• If you joined as a dealer, to contact you about how group bidding might work for you.
• City and car make help us decide where a first test might make sense.

We don't sell your details, and we don't share them with dealers, manufacturers or advertisers.

Where it's stored

Waitlist entries are saved to a private Google Sheet owned by the project team, using a Google Apps Script. That means Google stores this data on our behalf, under Google's own terms. Only the Caravan team can open the sheet.

How long we keep it

We keep your details until you ask us to remove them, or until the Caravan project ends, whichever comes first. TODO: decide and state a maximum period (for example, review and delete inactive entries every 12 months).

Your choices: see, correct or delete your details

Email hello@example.com TODO: replace with a real, monitored inbox from the address you signed up with, and tell us what you'd like: a copy of what we hold, a correction, or deletion. We'll aim to act on it within TODO: set a response time. Every update email will also tell you how to stop getting them.

Changes to this note

If this note changes, we'll update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use your details, we'll email the waitlist first.
